Hi, my name is Cal. I’m a writer based in London. 

I mainly focus on fiction and prose, but I love to experiment with poetry and visual art. My blog of personal essays can be found on this site for a taste of my writing style.

Primarily, I work in the areas of Magical Realism, Southern Gothic and Horror. My short fiction has been published in print, and I am currently working on compiling a collection of my short stories. I also write essays on film and literature - my focus for both is the mid-to-late 20th-century U.S.A.

I’m currently working on my degree in English Literature & Creative Writing at Kingston University, and I previously studied Media Production at Ravensbourne University, specialising in Film Production.

Outside of writing, I enjoy painting, gardening, playing the guitar, and dressing like your dad.
